Thursday went well...

Thursday went well...my procedure is done and I'm tired..so this will be just a quick deal..

Overslept this morning and ran like hell..it was one of those "Oh No's "...yes, apparently we had a storm that knocked out power to over 10,000 homes..I didn't hear anything..but my electric was off and so were my clocks..!!!

Woke up and wondered why my alarm was not on..and when I clicked to see anything nothing turned on..(yes, I have a clicker) I got up and saw it was daylight and then I yelled...HOLY CHIT>.WE OVER SLEPT... well two people ran in circles going no where fast...

Now normally there would be no big deal issue..but this morning was my D & E and I had to be at the hospital at 6:30am..and what time is it...?????? dunno cause no electric..so I grabbed my cell phone..(thank goodness it was charged) and took a looksie..and it was 5:30am...OMG...the race was on and I do me ON...

So the shouting began..."Get Me This...Where's that ...Who is taking what..Were are the Critters...OMG..Where's the water bowls.. where oh where did my brain go..????????  Yeppers.. we were a site to behold and beyond that...and I still can't believe we got out of the house and up to the hospital at 6:37am... I did call ahead to let them know that I might be late..hahaha... 

Yes, panic was in place and I was being served it ...big time..again we did make it and I think my hubby learned some new words too...mine of course were in Italian...not sure what his was other than "RedNECK"....

After that pretty much the usual stuff at the hospital ..Doc came in and talked then I was swished away and before I knew it..I was in another room..and the nurse was talking with me..telling me it's all over..??????????  I was given a local Valium (gawd that stuff is amazing) and also an epidural ....no discomfort what so ever...

Now I'm home and hubby is making dinner and fed the critters and all is well..I'm trying to remember things...like did I talk with the Doc..now that's something I always have a pet peeve about.. Why do they talk to you right after you wake up..cause ya know you're not gonna remember diddly squat..

Tonight I'll attempt to watch Big Brother if I can stay awake...and then tomorrow I'll just take it easy..go to my Doc's web site and see what if anything is written in my file... Now that is a hoot.. I now make my appointments on line I get all my info on my reports too... no more paper work or phone calls... some how I miss the human connection...

With that I'm gonna say... Good Night and hopefully Lord willing I'll be here tomorrow... with bells on  ...
